Getting clear on expectations is essential

As a first step, you will want to get clarity about each partner’s expectations. Clearly written agreements help all the partners understand their expectations and responsibilities and can help to ensure all partners have the potential to fully engage in the project ahead. 

Things to consider:

Why are we here? What are our goals & values as both partners and individuals?

Who me? What are each of our roles and responsibilities?

Yes, no, maybe? How should we make decisions? Who else needs to be at the table?
